Stock Update (NASDAQ:MVIS): Colonel Yalon Farhi Joins Microvision, Inc.’s Board of Directors

Microvision, Inc. (NASDAQ:MVIS) announced that Colonel (IDF res.) Yalon Farhi has joined its board of directors. Colonel Farhi’s election expands the number of MicroVision board members to eight.

Colonel Farhi’s career encompasses a wealth of experience that spans serving in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), lecturing at Bnei David Institute since 1998, working for an Israeli non-government organization as a lead administrative manager and fundraiser for nearly 20 years and operating a successful business for over 30 years. Colonel Farhi also has acted as a consultant to multiple security companies and is currently a director at DarioHealth Corp. (NASDAQ: DRIO).

Shares of Microvision closed yesterday at $1.32, up $0.01 or 0.76%. MVIS has a 1-year high of $3.47 and a 1-year low of $1.30. The stock’s 50-day moving average is $1.46 and its 200-day moving average is $1.74.

On the ratings front, Aegis Capital Corp. analyst Michael Rindos initiated coverage with a Buy rating on MVIS and a price target of $2.90, in a report issued on August 8. The current price target implies an upside of 119.7% from current levels. According to, Rindos has a yearly average return of 18.0%, a 57.1% success rate, and is ranked #1245 out of 4200 analysts.
