“We didn’t see an impact of this magnitude coming and have reduced estimates accordingly. While this is horrible for short term performance, we continue to view the exogenous impacts of this slowdown in China as a one-off (a more severe one off for sure) and view this as providing compelling value. The shares look to open in the $35 range, down 20% plus for the day and down 43% year to date and at levels the company briefly touched in 2016. At that price the company is for sale at 10x EPS and 5.3x EV/EBITDA. It will sport a dividend yield over 4%.”
