FireEye Inc (FEYE) Gets a Buy Rating from Evercore ISI

In a report released today, Kenneth Talanian from Evercore ISI maintained a Buy rating on FireEye Inc (FEYE), with a price target of $25. The company’s shares closed yesterday at $14.70, close to its 52-week low of $13.85.

Talanian said:

“We continue to believe that FireEye is not getting credit for the demonstrated execution over the past year as exhibited by the stock’s performance at down ~9% ytd. with most of the security group up double-digits. The public market valuation belies the asset value of the company and is worthy of another look by investors, in our opinion. Consistent execution, potentially greater than expected billings growth, the shift to more subscription software billings, and the inclusion of a promising recent acquisition all serve as key components of the investment thesis. The stock, however, trades as if its billings will decline 5% annually into perpetuity. We believe the risk- reward here is more balanced to the upside than downside. Maintain Outperform.”

According to TipRanks.com, Talanian is a 5-star analyst with an average return of 18.9% and a 74.6% success rate. Talanian covers the Technology sector, focusing on stocks such as CyberArk Software, Proofpoint Inc, and Check Point.

The word on The Street in general, suggests a Moderate Buy analyst consensus rating for FireEye Inc with a $20.09 average price target.
