CIBC Maintains a Buy Rating on Centerra Gold (CG)


In a latest note to investors, a research analyst has provided a rating update for the Materials sector company, Centerra Gold (CG). Analyst Bryce Adams from CIBC remains bullish on the stock and has a C$11.50 price target.

Based on Centerra Gold’s latest earnings release for the quarter ending March 31, the company reported a quarterly net profit of C$67.05 million. In comparison, last year the company had a net profit of C$56.18 million.

Centerra Gold, Inc. engages in the operation, development, exploration and acquisition of gold and copper properties. It operates through the following segments: Kyrgyz Republic, Turkey, North America, and Corporate and Other. The Kyrgyz Republic segment includes the operations of the kumtor gold project.

The company’s shares closed on Monday at C$9.97.
