Canaccord Genuity analyst Chip Moore maintained a Hold rating on Xylem (NYSE: XYL) yesterday and set a price target of $78. The company’s shares opened today at $69.94.

Moore commented:

“We believe XYL is executing well and we see ample room for margin enhancement (business simplification, sourcing, localization, etc.). While short-cycle visibility will stay variable, product breadth and organizational optimization efforts (along with recent acquisitions) support more consistent results. We look to get constructive on a better risk/reward.”
