“We note that at 15x EBITDA, shares currently trade at a 55% discount to high growth retail peers such as FND, OLLI, FIVE and EYE. Considering these factors, along with 14% short interest, we believe today’s initial reaction (+6% vs. +0.2% SPX) suggests some level of investor skepticism on the headline. That said, we remain constructive, and view shares as attractive at current levels with our without a deal. At this point management has not commented on the recent speculation.
