Tuesday Morning (TUES) Receives a Hold from B.Riley FBR

B.Riley FBR analyst Jeff Van Sinderen maintained a Hold rating on Tuesday Morning (NASDAQ: TUES) today and set a price target of $3.80. The company’s shares opened today at $3.25.

Van Sinderen commented:

“Tuesday Morning (TUES) reported 4Q18 BMO on 8/21. Results exceeded our estimates despite a ~300 bps impact from the Easter shift and pull-forward of a promo event. We are consensus. Base stores comped positive each month except April when the shift occurred. Increasing transportation costs continued to impact 4Q and are expected to impact FY19. GM increased 300 bps to come within 10 bps of our estimate; comps of +2.4% came in above our +2.0% in spite of calendar shift and pull-forward. SG&A leveraged 160 bps as a percentage of sales to exceed our expectations. However, guidance for FY19 EBITDA was mixed.”

According to TipRanks.com, Sinderen is a 3-star analyst with an average return of 4.1% and a 51.5% success rate. Sinderen covers the Services sector, focusing on stocks such as Tilly’s Inc, Kirkland’s, and Zumiez Inc.

Tuesday Morning has an analyst consensus of Hold.
