Oppenheimer analyst Shaul Eyal maintained a Hold rating on Teradata (TDC) today. The company’s shares closed yesterday at $43.72.

Eyal wrote:

“a non-GAAP basis, TDC posted EPS/revenue of $0.22/$468M vs. the consensus estimate of $0.20/$486M. TDC notes that it is seeing good customer activity as well as strong demand for its Teradata Vantage platform, and, encouragingly, recurring revenue increased by 10% (13% in constant currency). The company highlighted the fact that a few sizable subscription transactions in the Americas slipped from 1Q into 2Q. In addition, TDC notes that a robust deal pipeline gives management confidence in their ability to achieve FY19 guidance. The ongoing shift to a subscription model and the timing of TDC’s internal investments remain key variables impacting TDC’s trajectory. We maintain our Perform rating.”
