Pretium Resources Receives a Hold from CIBC


Yesterday, an analyst has provided a rating update for the Materials sector company, Pretium Resources (TSX: PVG). Analyst David Haughton from CIBC remains neutral on the stock.

According to TipRanks.com, Haughton is ranked #3941 out of 4836 analysts.

Based on Pretium Resources’ latest earnings release for the quarter ending March 31, the company reported a quarterly GAAP net loss of C$10.19 million. In comparison, last year the company had a GAAP net loss of C$3.35 million.

Pretium Resources, Inc. engages in the acquisition, exploration, and development of gold and precious metals resource properties. Its projects include Snowfield and Brucejack which are located in British Columbia. The company was founded by Robert Allan Quartermain on October 22, 2010 and is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.

The company’s shares closed on Monday at C$12.17.
