Polyone Corp Gets a Buy Rating from Oppenheimer

In a report released today, Colin Rusch from Oppenheimer maintained a Buy rating on Polyone Corp (NYSE: POL), with a price target of $50. The company’s shares closed yesterday at $42.63.

Rusch commented:

“POL hosted its Analyst Day at NPE in Orlando, where management presented a cohesive and, in our view, achievable path to sustained double-digit EPS growth. While resetting the bar on its segment target margin outlook and increasing its ROIC outlook, we believe POL set expectations that demonstrate the value of its niche solutions, while enabling the flexibility to continue to execute its invest-to-grow strategy. We see POL’s transformation as a specialty solutions provider accelerating as investments in commercial resources (sales/R&D) mature. With a focus on getting closer to its customer, we believe POL has positioned itself as a key partner in helping its customers benefit from key secular trends like lightweighting, material replacement, and recyclability. We remain constructive on shares and reiterate our $50PT.”
