Oppenheimer Sticks to Its Hold Rating for F5 Networks (FFIV)

In a report released today, George Iwanyc from Oppenheimer maintained a Hold rating on F5 Networks (NASDAQ: FFIV). The company’s shares closed yesterday at $161.60.

Iwanyc commented:

“F5 Networks’ FY4Q18 results topped expectations and its outlook was largely in line with expectations. Positives include broad-based regional demand, steady deal sizes, and continued strong deal closure and pipeline growth for its new ELA and virtual subscription models. The steady execution helped lift software revenue (+19% of product revenue (+2pts QoQ). Management also highlighted good customer interest for upcoming products (standalone SSL Orchestrator coming in Dec. and in 1HCY19). While comfortable with F5’s execution and strategic direction, we continue to believe this is already largely reflected in current valuation levels, presenting a balanced risk/reward opportunity near term. Longer term, we’re more positive, focusing on proof points showing security traction and use case/new customer expansion.”
