“MPWR reports 2Q earnings on Wed. (7/25) after the close. We see a beat/raise set- up vs. consensus 2Q rev/EPS of $140M/$0.90 and 3Q $154M/$1.04. At its June AD, mgmt laid the path to $1B revenues, sustainable 20%-plus growth and by 2021. MPS has myriad greenfield growth opportunities in diverse end markets including auto, DC/cloud, motion control and eCommerce. Combined company TAM now exceeds $17B. We see potential for further acceleration and believe a $2B top line is organically attainable within ~5 years. Shares are up ~450% over the past five years (~2x SOX). We like mgmt’s history of consistent execution and long-term growth/GM story. We remain buyers with a $150 price target.”
