Oppenheimer Keeps a Buy Rating on Verint Systems Inc (VRNT)


Oppenheimer analyst Shaul Eyal maintained a Buy rating on Verint Systems Inc (NASDAQ: VRNT) today and set a price target of $58. The company’s shares closed yesterday at $47.20.

Eyal noted:

“We are raising our price target on VRNT to $58 from $49 following strong 2Q19 (Jul. ’18) results. On a non-GAAP basis, VRNT posted $0.76/$308.5M, with revenue +11%, beating the consensus $0.61/$296M. Intelligence grew 11% y/y. VRNT’s capabilities in advanced technologies such as machine learning and robotics are enabling its customers to improve their efficiency. In advanced analytics, VRNT is investing to help customers gain insights and achieve business objectives by leveraging real-time shared intelligence. In our view, Cyber- Intelligence is positioned for revenue growth and margin expansion, and we believe Customer Engagement is positioned for steady growth and moderate margin gains. Reiterate Outperform.”
