Oppenheimer Believes Verint Systems Inc (VRNT) Won’t Stop Here


In a report released today, Shaul Eyal from Oppenheimer reiterated a Buy rating on Verint Systems Inc (NASDAQ: VRNT), with a price target of $49. The company’s shares closed yesterday at $44.05, close to its 52-week high of $45.

Eyal commented:

“For F1Q18 (ended a non-GAAP basis, VRNT posted $0.53/$292M, with revenue +10%, beating the consensus $0.48/$281M forecasts. Customer Engagement generated $189M, up 8% y/y, and Cyber Intelligence generated $103M, up 13%. VRNT is seeing strong ongoing momentum driven by solid trends across the globe, and management reiterated its solid guidance for the year. The Customer Engagement business continues to see demand for its solutions, and margins should increase as the year unfolds. We believe significant potential exists for the Cyber Intelligence business to accelerate revenue growth and, at the same time, significantly improve margins. We reiterate our Outperform rating and $49 price target.”
