Barrington analyst James Goss maintained a Buy rating on Marcus Corp (MCS) today and set a price target of $49. The company’s shares closed on Friday at $38.12.

Goss observed:

“We are reaffirming our OUTPERFORM investment rating and our 2019- based price target of $49: Our 2019-based blended multiple is roughly 10x. MCS also pays a $0.64 per share annual dividend, increased by 20% at the start of the year, which provides a 1.7% yield. The invigorated focus on its theatre assets has generated significant returns and long-term industry outperformance, and the emphasis on an asset-light approach to hotels has created monetization opportunities that can be utilized on theatre expansion.”
