B.Riley FBR Reiterates Their Buy Rating on Pointer Telocation Ltd (PNTR)

In a report released yesterday, Josh Nichols from B.Riley FBR reiterated a Buy rating on Pointer Telocation Ltd (PNTR), with a price target of $20.50. The company’s shares opened today at $14.05.

Nichols commented:

“Buy-rated Pointer Telocation (PNTR, $20.50 PT) reported 4Q results, on Thursday, before the open. Revenue of $18.4M was below our $19.5M and consensus $19.3M due to $1.7M of FX headwinds related to Latin America, although the Peso (ARS) now appear to be stabilizing against the USD. However, services revenue was up 8% Y/Y on a constant currency basis in 4Q, and PNTR’s expanding suite of telematics offerings should support an acceleration of top-line growth in 2019. EBITDA of $3.0M (16.4% margin) was slightly below our and consensus estimate of $3.1M, and pro forma EPS of $025 missed our and consensus $0.31 estimate due to the lower revenue base.”

According to TipRanks.com, Nichols is a 4-star analyst with an average return of 13.7% and a 42.2% success rate. Nichols covers the Consumer Goods sector, focusing on stocks such as Adesto Technologies Corp, Immersion Corp, and Horizon Global.

Pointer Telocation Ltd has an analyst consensus of Moderate Buy, with a price target consensus of $22.50, implying a 60.1% upside from current levels. In a report released today, H.C. Wainwright also maintained a Buy rating on the stock with a $24.50 price target.
