B.Riley FBR Reiterates a Buy Rating on TiVo Corporation (TIVO)

In a report released today, Eric Wold from B.Riley FBR reiterated a Buy rating on TiVo Corporation (NASDAQ: TIVO). The company’s shares closed yesterday at $13.95.

Wold wrote:

“We are revisiting TiVo Corporation (TIVO) in order to help bring some clarity to the continued litigation/dispute with Comcast following recent rulings/decisions around a number of patents/ claims asserted against Comcast over the past few years. Given our continued belief that a positive resolution with Comcast would represent significant upside optionality to both our estimates and TIVO’s valuation (both as an ongoing public entity or as an acquisition target), we believe that potential catalysts over the next 3-6 months could begin to unlock some of this potentially meaningful value for TIVO shareholders.”

According to TipRanks.com, Wold is a 5-star analyst with an average return of 12.8% and a 64.5% success rate. Wold covers the Services sector, focusing on stocks such as Reading International Inc, National Cinemedia, and AMC Entertainment.

TiVo Corporation has an analyst consensus of Moderate Buy, with a price target consensus of $25.
