B.Riley FBR Keeps Their Buy Rating on Brunswick Corporation (BC)

In a report released today, Eric Wold from B.Riley FBR reiterated a Buy rating on Brunswick Corporation (BC). The company’s shares closed yesterday at $50.32.

Wold observed:

“Before the open on Thursday (1/31), Brunswick Corporation (BC) reported 4Q18 results that came in ahead of expectations for both net sales and adjusted EPS. Ahead of the planned near- term separation (spin-off or sale) of the fitness division, we continue to believe the market position and strengthening underlying trends of the marine engine and P&A businesses as well as the solid outlook for the boat segment (after discontinuing some Sea Ray models) are undervalued by investors—especially with BC well positioned to benefit from continued boat-buyer trends towards higher HP engines and greater engine-to-boat ratios (and continued production gains expected to drive margin improvements throughout 2019).”

According to TipRanks.com, Wold is currently ranked with no stars on a 0-5 star ranking scale, with an average return of -2.8% and a 38.7% success rate. Wold covers the Services sector, focusing on stocks such as Reading International Inc, Cinemark Holdings Inc, and National Cinemedia.

The word on The Street in general, suggests a Strong Buy analyst consensus rating for Brunswick Corporation with a $65.17 average price target.
