Analysts Offer Insights on Services Companies: Safe Bulkers (SB), Laureate Education Inc (LAUR) and Texas Roadhouse (TXRH)

Analysts have been eager to weigh in on the Services sector with new ratings on Safe Bulkers (SB), Laureate Education Inc (LAUR) and Texas Roadhouse (TXRH).

Safe Bulkers (SB)

In a report released today, James Jang from Maxim Group reiterated a Buy rating on Safe Bulkers, with a price target of $3.50. The company’s shares closed yesterday at $1.68, close to its 52-week low of $1.48.

Jang commented:

“Safe Bulkers (SB) reported generally in-line 4Q18 results with revenue of $51.1M, EBITDA of $29.1M, and operating EPS of $0.07. Lowering price target to $3.50, from $6, as we expect minimal (~3%) asset value appreciation by the end of 2020. However, our new price target still represents a significant (+119%) upside. SB reported a newbuild resale vessel purchase slated for delivery during 1H20. Once delivered SB will operate 42 vessels. Revising estimates ongoing U.S.-China trade war and slowdown in Chinese seaborne coal demand in 1H19 limits upside in our view. However, we expect rates in 2020 to rebound due to the upcoming IMO2020 regulations.”

According to TipRanks.com, Jang is a 3-star analyst with an average return of 3.3% and a 34.8% success rate. Jang covers the Services sector, focusing on stocks such as Sino-Global Shipping America, Eagle Bulk Shipping Inc, and Nordic American Tanker.

Currently, the analyst consensus on Safe Bulkers is a Moderate Buy with an average price target of $3.17.
