However, management’s implied F4Q18 (July) EPS guidance of $2.62-$2.72 is below our $2.98 pre-release estimate and the $2.84 consensus. We believe lingering food cost inflation may be to blame. As expected, CBRL declared a special dividend of $3.75 per share, to be distributed in F4Q18.”
