Take-Two (NASDAQ: TTWO)

Jefferies analyst Timothy O’Shea assigned a Buy rating to Take-Two (NASDAQ: TTWO) today and set a price target of $145. The company’s shares opened today at $113.33.

O’Shea wrote:

“It was a messy quarter with a lot of moving parts but the bottom line is we absolutely want to own TTWO heading into the upcoming launch of 2 (Oct 26), which we expect to be a smash hit with a long, high-margin revenue tail. Full year guide looks conservative, but also reflects Borderlands slipping into F’20. TTWO did miss topline due to surprising NBA softness, but Fortnite did not appear to cause significant pressure. Topline missed, EPS beat. Non-GAAP rev of $411MM missed street $444MM. EPS of $0.70 beat street $0.63.”
