AltaCorp Captial Downgrades Waste Connections (WCN) to Hold


Shares of Waste Connections (WCN) were revisited by a Wall Street analyst on April 25. Chris Murray, an analyst with AltaCorp Captial, has downgraded their rating on WCN to Hold on April 25 , with a C$130 price target.

Murray has an average return of 27.4% when recommending Waste Connections.

According to TipRanks.com, Murray is ranked #609 out of 5199 analysts.

The word on The Street in general, suggests a Strong Buy analyst consensus rating for Waste Connections.

Based on Waste Connections’ latest earnings release for the quarter ending March 31, the company reported a quarterly net profit of C$167 million. In comparison, last year the company had a net profit of C$158 million.

Waste Connections, Inc. engages in the provision of solid waste services. Its services include waste collection, transfer, disposal, treatment and recycling. It also provides non-hazardous exploration and production, waste treatment, recovery and disposal services.

The company’s shares closed on Tuesday at C$124.34, close to its 52-week high of C$125.59.
