PBF Energy Inc

PBF Energy Inc (NYSE:PBF) is a petroleum refiner and supplier. The offer several kinds of petroleum products like heating oil, transportation fuels, and lubricants. They operate in the Midwest and Northeast United States. The company has a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy). This favorable rank along with a positive Earnings Expected Surprise Prediction (ESP) of 30.08% makes PBF a likely candidate to beat our EPS consensus when it reports its earnings on 4/29/15.

Hospitality Properties Trust (NYSE:HPT) is a real estate investment trust.  The company owns and rents out hotels to third party hotel operators.  This REIT holds a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy).  Since March 6, HPT has seen its stock price surge 11.75%.  The stock rewards its investors with a 5.95% dividend.  It’s also worth noting that the company has a debt to equity of 1.05 for the most recent quarter.

30 days ago, our EPS consensus was $0.75 for the current quarter.  Since then, it has moved up and currently calls for an EPS of $0.77.  The company has beaten our consensus estimate in each of the last four quarters, and by an average of 4.41%.  The earnings history, Zacks Rank, and consensus movement indicate that Hospitality Properties is a favorable candidate to beat our earnings consensus estimate when it reports its earnings on 5/5/15.
