We See EBAY Outperforming This Year, Says Wedbush
In a research note released yesterday, Wedbush analyst Gil Luria reiterated an Outperform rating on eBay (EBAY) with a $65 price target, following eBay’s second-quarter earnings results.
Luria wrote, “We see EBAY outperforming this year as the market returns to recognizing double-digit growth in the core PayPal and Marketplace businesses with a higher multiple. We believe that strong core metrics indicate that once the impact of fleeting externalities subside, EBAY will resume its trend-line low-to mid-teen growth. EBAY is on the Wedbush Best Ideas List”.
According to TipRanks.com, which measures analysts and bloggers success rate based on how their calls perform, analyst Gil Luria has an 8.2% average return and a 63% success rate. Luria has a 15.3% average return when recommending EBAY, and is ranked #706 out of 3215 analysts.
