Vantiv: Growth Outlook And Valuation Provide Good Set-Up, Says Oppenheimer
In a research report published today, Oppenheimer analyst Glenn Greene maintained an Outperform rating on Vantiv (NYSE:VNTV) with a $40 price target, ahead of the company’s 3Q14 earnings release.
Greene observed, “We anticipate accelerating 3Q14 growth driven by Mercury, solid spending volumes, and a full-quarter benefit from the Walmart transaction ramp. 3Q14 SS volume growth should prove directionally comparable to 2Q levels in the midsingle digits. We continue to believe VNTV’s FY14 revenue growth expectations are reasonable, and its EPS guide is potentially conservative. We maintain our FY14/ FY15 EPS estimates which reflect Mercury accretion (excludes synergy benefits) and a full Walmart ramp. Vantiv trades at ~14x our FY15E EPS, and near historical lows relative to the S&P 500, which we believe is attractive given its accelerating revenue growth outlook.”
According to TipRanks.com, which measures analysts’ and bloggers’ success rate based on how their calls perform, analyst Glenn Greene has a total average return of 18.7% and a 82.1% success rate. Greene has a 2.4% average return when recommending VNTV, and is ranked #191 out of 3337 analysts.
