Sterne Agee Maintains Neutral On Brown Shoe Company Shares

In a research report issued yesterday, Sterne Agee analyst Sam Poser maintained a Neutral rating on Brown Shoe Company (NYSE:BWS). No price target provided.

Poser explained, “Remaining Neutral as valuation is fair. BWS is doing a great job navigating through a tough retail environment, and we expect progress to continue, but the stock does not warrant a high teen PE multiple (on FY15 EPS). Famous is steady and fashion brands are working well, but Naturalizer needs to be resuscitated in order for the 8% EBIT% to become a reality. Raising FY14 EPS from $1.55 to $1.59, maintaining FY15 EPS of $1.87, & introducing FY16 EPS of $2.04.”

According to TipRanks.com, which measures analysts’ and bloggers’ success rate based on how their calls perform, analyst Sam Poser has a total average return of 20.6% and a 76.2% success rate. Sam is ranked #26 out of 3249 analysts.
