Sonic: Initial Fiscal 2015 Outlook Calls for Accelerating EPS Growth, Says William Blair
In a research report released Wednesday, William Blair analyst Sharon Zackfia reiterated an Outperform rating on Sonic (NASDAQ:SONC), following the company’s fiscal 2015 outlook announcement.
Zackfia said, “Sonic’s initial outlook for fiscal 2015 calls for EPS growth at the higher end of its long-term 14% to 20% EPS growth target, marking an acceleration from EPS growth guidance of 14% to 15% this year and generally in line with our and consensus expectations for 18% EPS growth.” The analyst concluded, “At 21 times our calendar 2015 EPS estimate, we continue to recommend Sonic shares as we believe management has successfully created greater visibility and clarity surrounding its growth strategy and its ability to deliver consistent 15% to 20% EPS growth.”
According to TipRanks.com, which measures analysts’ and bloggers’ success rate based on how their calls perform, analyst Sharon Zackfia has a total average return of 17.9% and a 60.9% success rate. Zackfia has a 4.4% average return when recommending SONC, and is ranked #460 out of 3284 analysts.
