Roth Capital Reiterates Buy On InvenSense Ahead Of 2Q15 Earnings
In a research report issued today, Roth Capital analyst Krishna Shankar reiterated a Buy rating on InvenSense (NYSE:INVN) with a price target of $28, ahead of the company’s fiscal 2015 second-quarter financial results.
Shankar noted, “We expect solid 2Q15 results with seasonally strong guidance driven by new Apple business and marketshare gains with China Android smartphone customers offsetting weakness at Samsung. We believe INVN may benefit from new business with Apple, LG, Xiomi and China Android smartphone customers offsetting moderating growth at Samsung. We estimate that an Apple iPhone6 and wearable platform win may contribute $50 million to $100 million in FY16 revenues and $0.15 to $0.25 in EPS built into our current estimates.”
According to TipRanks.com, which measures analysts’ and bloggers’ success rate based on how their calls perform, analyst Krishna Shankar has a total average return of 4.5% and a 38.6% success rate. Shankar has a -8.2% average return when recommending INVN, and is ranked #1002 out of 3324 analysts.
