Roth Capital Maintains Buy On Nvidia Following Third Quarter Fiscal 2015 Results
In a research note sent to investors today, Roth Capital analyst Krishna Shankar maintained a Buy rating on Nvidia Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) with a $24 price target, as the company reported good 3Q15 results with revenues/GAAP EPS of $1,225.4 million/$0.31 versus Roth’s $1,209.3 million/$0.28 estimates.
Shankar noted, “We are positive on NVDA’s growth prospects in high-end gaming PC graphics, professional graphics, Tesla high-performance computing, and enterprise virtualization with GRID computing and cloud appliances. We believe that NVDA’s Tegra K1 mobile processor for high-end smartphones/tablets, automotive, and game platforms will also drive growth.”
According to TipRanks.com, which measures analysts’ and bloggers’ success rate based on how their calls perform, analyst Krishna Shankar has a total average return of 4.4% and a 49.1% success rate. Shankar has a 19.3% average return when recommending NVDA, and is ranked #1081 out of 3364 analysts.
