Oppenheimer Reiterates Outperform On Yum! Brands, $80 PT
In a research report issued today, Oppenheimer analyst Brian Bittner reiterated an Outperform rating on Yum! Brands (NYSE:YUM) with a price target of $80.
Bittner wrote, “If split into three stocks, YUM would be immediately worth $81-$97/share based on our analysis. The theoretical separation would also free investors to access three attractive stories with value-creation drivers best maximized as stand-alones: 1) KFC/ PH – a franchised growth model with optionality to lever-up, 2) Taco-Bell – a domestic pure-play with strengthening unit economics and accelerating unit growth, 3) China/ India – an isolated vehicle to participate in China’s high-octane growth story and its magnified risk/reward profile.”
According to TipRanks.com, which measures analysts’ and bloggers’ success rate based on how their calls perform, analyst Brian Bittner has a total average return of 13.5% and a 67.4% success rate. Bittner has a 2.9% average return when recommending YUM, and is ranked #223 out of 3335 analysts.
