Deutsche Bank Maintains Hold On Baxter International, $66 PT
In a research report issued today, Deutsche Bank analyst Kristen Stewart maintained a Hold rating on Baxter International (NYSE:BAX) with a price target of $66.00.
Stewart observed, “Baxter’s 3Q14 sales and EPS beat expectations. The sales upside was driven by strong Biosciences sales. Hemophilia sales were stronger than expected but due to the OUS performance. The EPS upside was a function of a gain from equity investments. Baxter guided 4Q below Street expectations. Our view is unchanged. There are a host of headwinds that will impact Baxter next year and we believe the risks for the hemophilia business remain. We believe the market is over estimating the earnings power and under appreciating the risks. We rate BAX a Hold and believe the near-term risk/reward is unfavorable.”
According to TipRanks.com, which measures analysts’ and bloggers’ success rate based on how their calls perform, analyst Kristen Stewart has a total average return of -1.6% and a 33.3% success rate. Stewart is ranked #2494 out of 3336 analysts.
