Cantor Reiterates Buy On Netflix, $415 PT
In a research report issued today, Cantor analyst Youssef Squali assigned a Buy rating on Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) with a price target of $415.
Squali wrote, “A miss on subscriber growth in 3Q:14 after a very strong 2Q:14 shows the growing difficulty in forecasting this business, especially amidst a price hike and the opening of several new countries. Financial results were virtually in line with expectations, but subscriber net adds in 3Q:14 and guidance for 4Q:14 are roughly 19% and 17% below Street estimates, respectively. With the secular shift of video to on-demand Internet TV and Netflix’s strong position within this rapidly growing segment, we maintain a BUY rating on NFLX, even after having adjusted our subscriber and financials estimates lower and our DCF-derived PT to $415 from”
