BTIG Maintains Buy Rating On Cheniere Energy, Sees 31% Upside For The Stock
In a research report issued today, BTIG analyst William Frohnhoefer maintained a Buy rating on Cheniere Energy, Inc. (NYSEMKT:LNG) with a price target of $100, which implies an upside of 31% from current levels.
Frohnhoefer noted, “Cheniere’s latest investor presentation contains a good amount of interesting new information about the firm’s plans and the progress of its operations. The most dramatic addition was a slide showing how an expansion of Cheniere’s liquefaction portfolio from nine trains to eleven would translate to $20.20 of EBITDA per share by 2020, with $12.10 of that number derived from 40.5mtpa of long term contracts, and the remainder from 9mtpa of marketed excess capacity. The new presentation confirms that, if Cheniere chooses to reinvest this cash, that expansion would be its first priority.”
Analyst William Frohnhoefer has a total average return of 28.0% and a 55.6% success rate, according to TipRanks.com, which measures analysts’ and bloggers’ success rate based on how their calls perform. Frohnhoefer has a 31.2% average return when recommending LNG, and is ranked #487 out of 3483 analysts.
